President's Report - 2013 - dated 13th May 2013.
Once again I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. For those of you who are not familiar with me, my name is Douglas Miller and I am the President of The Bay Wind Field. I have been a member of the board since it began in 2001 and have been President and Vice President in the past.
This past year, plus, The Bay Wind Field has been busy helping Scotian Wind qualify for a COMFIT project in the Little River area of Argyle. We are close to getting the 25 shareholders required in that area.
Bay Wind has also recently made more investment in Scotian Wind Fields Inc. SWFI has created a company called Scotian Wind Inc. that will handle the COMFIT renewable energy projects. Scotian Wind is presently involved in many projects in Nova Scotia and will have 3 2MW Vestas V200 Wind turbines up and running by the end of this year. They have been approved for several more COMFIT projects and in the near future, hoping to lock up about 40MWs.
The shareholders of SWFI were initially given the exact number of shares in the new company, Scotian Wind Inc. Since that time, The Bay Wind Field has been able to buy more Scotian Wind Inc. shares so we now own 1.4 million, increasing our percentage of ownership in that company
On 31st October 2011; "The Gold Coast Wind Field Inc. and The Bay Wind Field Inc. were Amalgamated. This spring, The Bay finally received confirmation from Nova Scotia Securities that those people that received Bay shares for Gold Coast shares would receive The Equity Tax Credit like all other Bay investors. We had been waiting for over a year for that decision.

RESL completed its project at Point Tupper and is now producing energy for Nova Scotia and is in the process of enlarging the farm. It is also involved in projects in Western Canada. RESL owns 56% of the Point Tupper Wind Field. The Wind Field has fifteen 2 mw Enercon Turbines.
The Bay Wind Field is presently open to sell shares and will remain open until May 27th. We have not yet met the minimum sales required by the CEDIF rules. If any of you know anyone that may be looking to invest in renewable energy (including yourselves) please have them contact us before May 27th. Our contact information is at the bottom of these pages and can also be found on our website.
Respectfully Submitted,
Douglas Miller
President
The Bay Wind Field Inc.
